It has a dual configuration: on the front is the woman – for Corneille the symbol of Mother Earth – “the dictionary of form, color, and warmth.” On the back are his favorite motifs – the cat, birds, and the eternal tree – depicted in relief. Everything about this sculpture exudes the artist’s rhythm and joie de vivre in graceful colors and shapes. A unique gift, elegantly packaged in a blue wooden box specially designed by Corneille.
