Description
Casanuova di Nittardi 2023 Vigna Doghessa DOCG Chianti Classico is Nittardi’s Chianti Classico Annata, made exclusively from Sangiovese grapes grown in the single vineyard ‘Doghessa’.
It grows at an altitude of 450 metres on hilly terrain in the golden triangle between Panzano, San Donato and Castellina in Chianti.
Both in the vineyard and in the cellar, this Chianti Classico is treated with exceptional care to highlight the typical characteristics of the Sangiovese grape and our unique terroir. Casanuova di Nittardi has been certified organic since the 2017 vintage.
Casanuova di Nittardi has been available every year since 1981 in a limited edition with artist labels and silk wrapping paper, created by Hundertwasser, Janssen, Penck, Arroyo, Combas, Yoko Ono, Tomi Ungerer, Günter Grass, Kim Tschang Yeul, Dario Fo, Karl Otto Götz, Alain Clément, Joe Tilson, Allen Jones, Mikis Theodorakis, Fabrizio Plessi and Rissa.
