The picture La Scala shows two lovers in front of the steps of a steep staircase. It is night, the moon is visible as a silhouette in the upper right corner, and the two lovers are holding each other tightly in their arms. Upon closer inspection, two staircases can be seen. One for each of them: because even in the happiest relationship, each person develops individually and both must also go their own way for the love to last.

With fine lines, Bruno Bruni gently depicts the beginning of a new love. Dull colours and fresh wine hint at a long winter, but the central motif is love that defies all adversity and allows the intertwined couple to float high above all adversity.

Region: Veneto.

Alcohol: 12%

Grape variety: 100% Glera Tonda grapes (formerly Prosecco) from cooler hillside and steep slopes.

Profile: Straw yellow colour, enhanced by a persistent and fine perlage. Fresh and pleasant aromatic taste with notes of fruit, apple, pear with citrus aromas that reach slightly floral notes. Dry, balanced, persistent and savoury taste.

Soil: Calcareous soils that give Prosecco a fine minerality.

Serving: At a temperature of 8-10°C.

Suitable for: On its own, neat, but also as a refreshing aperitif, or serve it with pasta dishes with delicate meat sauce, mixed beans or seafood soups, vegetable risotto, soft cheese and chicken dishes.

Residual sugar: 7 g/l
