GETTING HERE
If you come from Florence or further north:
Take the Firenze – Siena highway and get out at San Donato in Poggio and continue towards Castellina in Chianti. 10 km after San Donato you will see the brown Nittardi sign on your left (among several others indicating private properties). Turn left onto the gravel lane. This lane leads directly to Nittardi (about 3.6 km).
If you come from Siena:
Take the Siena – Firenze highway direction Florence and get of at Monteriggioni. Continue towards Castellina in Chianti. Once you passed the city center of Castellina continue towards San Donato in Poggio. 3.6 km after Castellina you you will see a brown Nittardi sign on your right (among several others indicating private properties). Turn right onto the gravel lane. This lane leads directly to Nittardi (about 3.6 km).
Please note that all roads leading from the main thoroughfares to Nittardi are dirt roads. As such, they may not be suitable for low-slung vehicles. This local and private site is located within an intact nature conservation area between forests and vineyards.
