This exceptional, deep golden brandy from Zarri is a silent testament to masterful patience. Distilled from carefully selected Trebbiano grapes from Tuscany and Emilia Romagna, it has been aged for 23 years in various oak barrels \u2013 without the addition of distilled water, which is the exception for great distillates.<\/p>\n

The nose reveals beguiling aromas of candied dates, dried figs, and a hint of beeswax. The palate reveals its full depth: cocoa, pipe tobacco, roasted almonds, and a hint of dried lavender. The finish is soft and creamy, with an elegant balsamic note and a long, slightly minty finish. A brandy that deserves time \u2013 in the barrel and in the glass.<\/p>\n

Ideal with spicy hard cheeses, chocolate desserts, dates, figs, smoked meats \u2013 and the right cigar.<\/p>\n
