An aroma that is difficult to describe, blending citrus and herbs and even a touch of mint, salty too, plus a creamy quality perhaps from lees contact? Lovely combination of richness and deep fruit with outstanding freshness. This is the best Nittardi Vermentino I have tasted, perhaps helped by the increasing age of the vines, or the vintage? It may age longer than this but there’s no need to wait. 17/20
