Casanuova di Nittardi Vigna Doghessa 2023 is Fattoria Nittardi’s Chianti Classico, a single-varietal Sangiovese from the ‘Doghessa’ single vineyard. It is grown at an altitude of 450 metres on hilly terrain in the golden triangle between Panzano, San Donato and Castellina in Chianti.

Casanuova di Nittardi has been available every year since 1981 in a limited edition with an artist’s label and silk wrapping paper, created to date by Hundertwasser, Yoko Ono, Tomi Ungerer, Günter Grass, Kim Tschang Yeul, Dario Fo, Alain Clément, Joe Tilson, Mikis Theodorakis, Fabrizio Plessi and Rissa, amongst others. The 43rd label and wrapping paper were created by the Korean artist Chun Kwang Young.

A wonderful wine for lovers of fine taste and exceptional art.

Special Edition Magnum:

For the 2023 vintage, a plot of the finest Sangiovese grapes from Vigna Doghessa was vinified separately and, after two years in oak barrels, bottled exclusively in magnum format as Chianti Classico Riserva. The relief label, specially designed by Chun Kwang Young, makes the bottle a true work of art in its own right.

€46.67 per litre. Including VAT. Contains sulphites.
